Quality Requirements for Suppliers
1. Goal of our company is production without mistakes and complete fulfiling customer's demands. For acheeving this goals we apply to zero defect strategy and continouse process improvements. Same approach we require from our suppliers.

Supplier production location has to be registered under recognized automotive industry standards. Minimum condition is quality system by ISO 9001:2000. Certificates of registration are to be available upon request.

In case that supplier don't have any quality system evaluation, representativ of Tesnila GK d.o.o. can perform process audit and give the opinion/evaluation of the supplier's QM.
Suppliers should apply the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) procedures for MSA, PPAP, SPC, FMEA and APQP.

2. Supplier rating system
Supplier service provision is rated on a basis of each individual delivery, taking into account the following elements:

Quality performance
    • rejections / nr. of rejections (30%)
    • claim solving, service, comunication (15%)
Logistic performance
    • Supplier loyalty (20%)
    • Flexibility (15%)
    • Documentation suitability (15%)
General requirements
    • Adequacy of quality system (QM and Environent System) (5%)
Supplier rating system is detailed in internal instruction, wich is at disposal  to supplier, if requested.

3. Additional requirements
    • The supplier has to follow the requirements of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) in all new or modified parts, including team feasibility commitment.
    • Before the first shipment, the supplier has to receive PPA (Production Part Approval) or aproved EMPB (Erstmusterprüfbericht) from » Tesnila«.
    • If required, the supplier must cooperate with customer when new parts are developed.
    • The supplier must provide evidence of compliance with the requirements concerning restricted, toxic and hazardous substances. When required, it must fill in the IMDS database, as a part of PPA (http://www.mdsystem.com).
    • The supplier must provide evidence about process capacity (Cpk in pre-series has to be > 1,67 ; in serial production conditions Cpk >1,33).
    • The supplier must monitor and control all product and process features. Total traceability must be assured for safety characteristic and 0 defect guaranteed (Poka-Yoke solutions or 100% control of critical characteristic).
    • The supplier (and any sub-suppliers) must not make any changes in: part design, material, production process, production location lay-out, logistic flow, sub-supplier without prior approval by »Tesnila«.
    • The supplier must provide PPA (Production Part Approval) on time, completely and accurately
    • The supplier must monitor it's process and product performance and be capable of demonstrating the philosophy of continuous improvement. Effective tracking methods must exist to drive continuous improvements
    • The supplier has full responsibility for it's parts including financial aspects for all nonconforming products and their impacts.
    • The supplier must always deliver on time, according to schedule requirements. In the case of contradictory or unclear requirements, the supplier must inform » Tesnila«.
    • In the case of quality or other problems, »Tesnila«  must receive initial response from the supplier within 24 hours. Final response including root-cause analysis and systematic solution of the problem must be within 10 days of occurrence.
    • In the case of bigger problems, the representative from »Tesnila«  must be guaranteed free access to all suppliers' facilities during working hours to conduct on-site process audit.

4. Suppliers is obliged to produce products wich must fulfil all requirements regarding specifications, drawings, and all other documents that determine the material/product and were at disposal to the supplier.


The supplier has to analyse the material regularly and maintain the relevant records.

5. For all new products/materials and in all other cases when agreed, supplier must deliver to the consignee by order first samples of products / material (EMPB) wich at that time satisfy requests in as serial production.

6. Specified documentation and all quality records are archived by supplier. Archiving period for project documentation is 1 year after end of the serial production.
Archiving Quality documents is 3 years minimum. Documentation and records related to safety characteristic (»A, §«) must be archived 15 years minimum, counting from date of becoming not valid.

7. Without »Tesnila's« permission, supplier must not make any technical changes to supplied products / materials.
Supplier must inform »Tesnila« at any production displacement or useing new process methods. All itemized changes lead to new first sampleing (EMPB).
